New Sound Brass Band - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
New Sound Brass Band
New Sound Brass is a Philadelphia based brass band that
offers a fresh and soulful twist on various styles of music.
This multi cultural unit draws influence and inspiration from
its vast and diverse background to produce a sound that has
been described as Philly Soul spoken through brass. New
Sound is not so much new in terms of the sonic but rather it
is new in the process, in how the sound collected, treated
and offered. The intention is to build culture, community
and phenomenon by the melding and interplay between
band and the audience experience. We don't play at a
crowd, we play with a crowd.
Looseleaf - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Rhett Tierney and Andrew Napoli joined musical forces as middle schoolers in Langhorne, PA, and they've been playing music together ever since. The band Looseleaf was born from their love of tight vocal harmonies and music from the 60's-70's. In an age of synthetic sound effects and overproduction, Looseleaf prides itself on a no-frills, vintage sound inspired by the blues, classic rock, funk, and reggae.

Over the years, Looseleaf has played all over the Greater Philadelphia Area. The band notably opened for Questlove at the Pennsbury High School Prom (known as the greatest prom in America). In 2018, Rhett and Andrew shared the stage with Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon's bass player most famously featured on the Graceland album).
