Work Drugs - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Work Drugs
Work Drugs specialize in cocktails-compatible indie pop inspired by the soft rock era of artists like Christopher Cross and Donald Fagen, but with a lo-fi spark. (They've embraced the label "smooth-fi.") The group was formed in Philadelphia by singer/multi-instrumentalists Thomas Crystal and Benjamin Louisiana. They self-released Work Drugs' full-length debut, Summer Blood, in mid-2011 before partnering with Chicago-based Bobby Cahn Records, which released a flurry of records that followed. After the song "Rad Racer" from their debut was featured in a commercial for Urban Outfitters later that summer, their second album, Aurora Lies, came out in November. A set of acoustic versions of existing songs, Cayman Islands Sessions, arrived before the end of the year. In 2012, they released both Absolute Bearing and Delta, with the Amore EP following in February 2013. Another full-length set, Mavericks, appeared that summer. Still with Bobby Cahn Records, their sixth LP of original material, Insurgents, arrived in March 2014, with Runaways on its heels that fall and Cayman Islands Sessions, Vol. 2 in December. In the meantime, Work Drugs maintained a regular touring schedule, usually with an expanded lineup, earning support slots for bands spanning Two Door Cinema Club, Peter Bjorn and John, Umphrey's McGee, and Battles, to name a few. Still sporting a tranquil, yacht-side vibe, the band issued Louisa in the summer of 2015. That fall, they recorded Method Acting, which was released in August 2016. They are currently in support of their most recent effort, ‘Holding on to Forever.’
The Yetis - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
The Yetis
The Yetis are an indie rock band from Allentown, Pennsylvania. The sometimes-snowy Pennsylvanian town is not inhabited by abominable snowmen but instead by four young friends who started out covering The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys in a garage attic. Increased exposure to bands like Girls, The Beach Boys and Buddy Holly led to plenty of inspiration for original efforts, though. Original compositions like "Little Surfer Girl" and "Girl, I Wanna Be Your Man" show that The Yetis are far from a cover group at this point. Along with writing all the music and words to their songs, they've recorded everything to date in the attic they formed the band in.

The stylistic approach of The Yetis certainly touches on the surf-leaning material of their influences, but this isn't a strictly surf-rock band. They do cover The Smiths' "Ask," after all. NME contributor James Balmont writes: "Their modest, charming surf and jangly rock-and-roll is full of the kind of vocal harmonies and cute guitar licks that would make The Beach Boys crack a smile and one recent track, 'Warm California,' sums them up in one; a two-minute ditty full of sunny iconography and a jovial tempo. Best of the lot, though, is 'Girl, I Wanna Be Your Man,' a Western ballad that mixes Beatles twangs with the Black Lips and The Coral for some sensational, laid-back guitar-pop."

Today, The Yetis are bringing their act of original music to clubs, ballrooms and theaters across the United States and Europe.
Pilkington - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Pilkington
Pilkington is the sound of turn of the century rock and roll infused with dynamic female vocals and just a splash of chiptune. Driven by the dual threat of front woman and lead guitarist, Becca Todd, the band has been steadily gaining fans since their first two singles, "All Around the Neighborhood" and "Soft Flesh", were released in 2017. During that short period, the band has shared the stage with Middle Kids, Magic Numbers, Death By Unga Bunga, Tristen, Hey Marseilles, and Bad Bad Hats. This summer the band released the first five tracks of their debut album, The Happy Noise. The album is set to release when it feels it's ready.
