The Great Unknown - (Set time: 11:15 PM)
The Great Unknown
Six years, four EPs, One full length cd, and now a Vinyl Album!

Come hear one of Philadelphia's finest bands show off their new album's songs
now available as a vinyl record.

Recorded last winter in a giant wooden circular cabin in Connecticut, the plan was always
for a record made in the old manner. Lots of live performance, only eight tracks, and
a band capturing more than just the sounds but also a feeling, a beautiful room, and a band
with all the chemistry of 6 years together on and off the road.

If you listen to records come get one. If you don't come see them anyway and listen, because
there's something beautiful in this band and its performance that you will take with you after the show
and cherish. See you Feb 2nd!
KC Jones - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
KC Jones
Since 2008, KC Jones has been creating a sound pulling from the energy of The Clash and Talking Heads to the atmosphere of Spiritualized and The Velvet Underground. At the beginning of 2012, the 4-song Reckless EP was released on vinyl which delved into darker, ambient rock. The debut album, Sounds from the West, was recorded over the summer of 2012 and reaches into moments of pop driven beats mixed with swells of noise and layered vocals. Each song takes a different direction anywhere from loud rock or electronica to ambient and worldbeat. The album follows a singular journey through the disconnect of life in a time of social and political strife. The title is inspired by the Andrew Wyeth painting “Christina’s World” which portrays a woman in a field gazing toward a distant house. The album is set for digital release on January 8th, 2013.
Alison Wadsworth - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Alison Wadsworth
Ali Wadsworth is the daughter of a rock musician/chemical engineer and a tapestry weaver. Life and her father's job brought her all over the world, including Moscow to study opera, musical theatre in exotic North Jersey and Jazz at The University of Vermont. Her rock band UNLIKELY COWBOY brought her to Philly, which split off into GOOD OLD WAR, and Ali joined forced with her sister and formed GOLDIEBOX and Philadelphia super-group FANTASY SQUARE GARDEN. When these bands disbanded (as most bands do), Ali and her little sister Claire decided to give national television a try. The Wadsworth Sisters were asked to audition for NBC's The Voice, and spent the summer of 2012 living in a Los Angeles hotel singing and filming. Currently Ali is working on her first solo record with mega producer Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog, Floating Action, Man Man, The Sheepdogs, Toy Soldiers) which will be a collection of songs given to her by her favorite songwriters. Projected album release is scheduled for May 2013. Ali has appeared on countless records (Don McCloskey, Hoots and Hellmouth, Aaron and The Spell, Andrew Lipke, Good Old War, Toy Soldiers) and continues to pay the bills as a bartender/session musician.
