The Bailey Hounds - Release Party - (Set time: 11:15 PM)
The Bailey Hounds - Release Party
The Bailey Hounds emerged from the Philadelphia music scene in 2011 with their debut album "Along the Gallows"—a melancholy prowl through a series of Americana compositions, rife with imagery akin to the macabre, the diabolical, and the morose. Teetering on the border of alt-country and indie-rock, The Bailey Hounds prefer to look to the aesthetics of horror films and murder ballads for inspiration, drawing on the often sublime characteristics of the former and lyrical intrigue of the latter.

As of May 2013, The Bailey Hounds will be celebrating their second official release entitled "All the Blood in the World". The new six-song album offers a much grittier, analog approach, more indicative of the band's live performances. Though not so dissimilar from the dusty atmosphere accomplished on their debut, the new collection of songs proves to ebb and flow between upbeat '70s-style folk rock and dark, brooding ballads.
Tin Horses - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Tin Horses
t’s pretty hard not to find the similarities between Tin Horses and Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Of course, there is the obvious use of the word “horse” in their names. You’ll also hear the twangs of Americana behind the down home melodies and non-traditional vocals that seem to just naturally fit. And either bands are certainly not afraid to start some raucous with their electric guitars. Well, Tin Horses are a relatively new band that follows in the fine footsteps of other local acts like The War on Drugs and Kurt Vile who have been garnering plenty of accolades on the national/international music scene lately with their tracks that feel more like they should be coming out of the heartland than our gritty City of Brotherly Love (if they didn’t possess the Philly weirdness that is infectious among our artists). Tin Horses recently released their debut EPAmerican Radiance in March.-Q.D. Tran
Ruby The Hatchet - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Ruby The Hatchet
Ruby the Hatchet is an American heavy psych rock band from a
cadaverous funeral prism. Their work fuses the sinister tactic of
brainwash with blistering riffs and the rebellious mood of sorcery.
Seething and spitting, Ruby hammers behemoth waves of dogma and doom. Your ears shall lay savaged by their punishing tones.
