Hezekiah Jones - (Set time: 11:15 PM)
Hezekiah Jones
Hezekiah Jones is the musical nom de plume for Raphael Cutrufello and a band of like-minded musicians crafting alternative folk music. His catalog of songs sometimes sounds like a post-apocalyptic White Album, as covered by Sufjan Stevens. The biting, sometimes campy vibe only serves to intensify the blow of his sucker-punch ballads. Songs are filled with outlandish characters, imagined landscapes..., ringing harmonies, and baroque instrumental flourishes, but never disconnect from the tangible feelings at their center.

Vilebred - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Vilebred is a Philly-based experimental rock band, constantly
churning out rich melodies, epic anthems and enough snark to make
everyone a little uncomfortable. Following the footsteps of his
brother Kurt Vile, Sam Vile is the musical architect that leads this
circus, with influences ranging from The Violent Femmes to Radiohead.
Band members include, Dug Gillan (bass/vocals) and Jeremy Dawson (Lead
Guitar) of "The Nodd", Chelsea Sue Allen (keys/vocals) who is also a
talented solo artist of the same name, and Will Donahue (drums/vocals)
who, while members sometimes come and go, has been in the band since
the very beginning.
Manatawny Creek Ramblers - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Manatawny Creek Ramblers
The Manatawny Creek Ramblers began in 2004 in the
hills of Berks County Pennsylvania as a traditional
bluegrass band, a roots project of bandleader Daniel
Bower(guitar/vocals) who also plays drums for Frog
Holler. Since inception the band has built a mixed
repertoire of classic bluegrass tunes by the likes of Bill
Monroe, The Stanley Brothers, Del McCoury and Flatt &
Scruggs as well as an array of original material. During
that time The Manatawny Creek Ramblers have been
working steadily, performing at countless events and
festivals including their annual hosted “Pick Fest”. The
early autumn festivity takes place on the
Frecon’s Apple Orchard.
In addition MCR visits high schools, festivals and
libraries with an original
‘American Roots Music’ educational program.
