Frog Holler
“All this band has to offer is talent, great songs, and consistency.”
-No Depression

“their live show is a roaring, rollicking ride, switching from country
laments to rip-roaring barn-burners to the occasional Neutral Milk
Hotel cover with the greatest of ease. DO NOT miss them next time they
play." - Brian Howard, Philadelphia City Paper

well-written,well- played,and with a fine rich vocal,mark them as
special." - Sylvie Simmons Mojo

”Frog Holler capture the essence of The Band as well as any outfit
around these days, courtesy of their sound - rustic and soulful and
borderline gospel-ish at times - and their communal spirit” -

“Great songwriting, they are a deliriously entertaining live act, that
truly create their own genre." -
The Village Voice
Mason Porter - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
Mason Porter
Combining lush harmonies with hand clapping sing-along's and the unfiltered emotion of a hungry young rock band, Mason Porter is a force that evokes the spirits of each and every person whose life they touch. Blending folk, rock, blues and bluegrass with creative songwriting and constant experimentation; Mason Porter is a group of musicians working together to push the limits of American music.
Ataloft - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Ataloft (sounds like "atta" boy) is the duo side project of
Frog Holler's singer/songwriter/guitarist Darren Schlappich and banjoist/harmony singer Mike Lavdanski. The duo plays original songs as well as Frog Holler rarities and covers. In studio they are joined by Bruce Siekmann of Amoeba Studio in Fleetwood, PA. The band's name comes from Schlappich's childhood. In the late seventies, along with his brother Dave and 3 neighborhood friends, Ataloft was born as a lip-synch band that played imaginary instruments to Beach Boys and BTO records. Ataloft is currently working on it's first full-length recording.
