JoyCut - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Italy’s JoyCut, based in Bologna, emerged in 2004, the project named for the conjunction between the song ‘Joey’ from Nick Drake’s Time of No Reply and Pink Floyd’s The Final Cut. After some sonic exploration on early recordings, JoyCut’s most distinct sounds of post-rock and dark-wave bore true fruit on the 2009 release Ghost Trees Where to Disappear. The music includes a weaving of powerful sonic moments using electronic melodies and percussion with found objects from the urban landscape. Often experimental but always accessible, JoyCut have found a loyal fan base in Italy, the UK as well as most of Europe and have now brought their venture to the US in support of their latest album PiecesOfUsWereLeftOnTheGround.

Having opened and toured with such bands as Arcade Fire, Editors, Art Brut, Modest Mouse and Sebadoh, the trio won over North American fans on their first proper US Tour in winter and spring of 2014. The tour not only exposed them to thousands of new fans but also to radio (Nic Harcourt of KCSN has become a big supporter), commercial scoring (VISA World Cup commercial score secured through their SXSW International Day Stage Performance) and mainstream press (MTV Iggy Artist of the Week in April 2014 and Under The Radar feature in July 2014 issue) in America and Canada.

A North American return in the fall of 2014, fresh off their first ever dates in South America, will take them to new cities as well as have them return to others where they had great success this past winter and spring. The band continues to tour in support of their third album, 2013’s PiecesOfUsWereLeftOnTheGround (released on Italy’s largest record label IRMA and available in the US on iTunes), while continuing to write new material for a 2015 release. For fans of; Fuck Buttons, Foals, The Cure, Joy Division, A Place To Bury Strangers, Godspeed You Black Emperor.
Bells - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Bells started with two friends, Sean Hennessey and Jon Hershey, who have been producing and performing music together since 2006. While initially still members of other bands August Burns Red and This or the Apocalypse, it was impossible for the two to chase Bells in any serious capacity until 2011.

In 2011, Bells wrote and recorded their version of “Pangaea” for the deluxe edition of August Burns Red’s album “Leveler”.

In the months following the release of Leveler, Bells started writing and recording their first album at Hennessey's Studio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. At this time, Jon and Sean asked close friends Tim Kettering and Joe Terranova to join the band. On August 28th, 2012, Bells released their debut album “Our Forest, Our Empire”.

Bells performed in support of the album with this line-up, along with August Burns Red’s drummer Matt Greiner as an additional live member, through 2013. Finally, March 2013 marked the arrival of new full time drummer Toby Pool (former This or The Apocalypse), which leads us to Bells as they are today.

Bells has shared the stage with a variety of notable acts such as The XX, RJD2, Washed Out, Sea Wolf, August Burns Red, and more. Currently they are working on new material for their 2nd album, which is expected for release early 2015.
The Silence Kit - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
The Silence Kit
The Silence Kit is a Philadelphia-based post-punk band that plays textured, dark, indie rock. Inspired in equal parts by post punk, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia, avant-garde and indie rock, the band was started by singer/guitarist Patrick McCay back in 2002 as a solo recording project, eventually culminating in the first album "In Regulated Measure" (2006). "A Strange Labor" (2008) and "Dislocations" (2009) followed and "The Stairs" and "In Parts" EPs were released in 2011, each release garnering positive reviews from a variety of press. With each release The Silence Kit's signature sound grows more distinct, while the songwriting and arrangements continue to grow more varied and ambitious. The band's fourth LP "Watershed" is their most accomplished to date. Released on April 8th on Azteca Records / Break Even Records, "Watershed" reflects the band's wide palette of songwriting, mood and texture.
