Brother JT - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Brother JT
Frequenters of Johnny Brendas know that there is only one Brother JT. This is the guy from Bethlehem who bangs to his own lysergic drum. He defines the underground aesthetic, something that he has done for three decades, and his new record, "The Svelteness of Boogietude"(Thrill Jockey) shows him expanding his psychedelic horizons to deftly incorporate jazz, ballads, later period T. Rex, and of course, the ever present extended guitar workout. Even noneother than Indie Rock avatar, Byron Coley is on record as admiring the new album's "huge riff-based anthems that balance glam dynamics with mystical history on the head of a pin." It's inconceivable that anyone who truly digs rock will not be sucked deeply into the vortex of Boogietude.
Creem Circus - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Creem Circus
Do you know who "your favorite band's favorite band" is? It's probably the most glamtastic band to come out since BOWIE wiped the lighting bolt off his face. Creem Circus is what they call themselves (after their two favorite 70's rock magazines, of course...but you knew that)!
Hear them and you will hear original tunes with riffs and choruses that rocket you back to 1974. See them and you will be blinded by the sequins glued to the sides of their homemade platform shoes and glitter bug-eyed glasses. Meet them and you will feel the inexplicable urge to run away with the Circus! The Creem Circus!!
I Think Like Midnight - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
I Think Like Midnight
I Think Like Midnight is a Philadelphia-based instrumental rock band formed by lovers of the lost art of the rock instrumental. Succinct riffs, hooks, and melodies combine to form brainy, tightly-arranged earworm awesomeness with nods to Wire, Pullman, Television, Spoon, Tortoise, Love Tractor, and ITLM spirit band animal Pell Mell.

The initial spark was a reoccurring desire on the part of ITLM founder Andrew Chalfen (The Trolleyvox, The Wishniaks, Gimme) to hear a new record by the long-defunct band Pell Mell. As no new Pell Mell material has been released since 1997, Chalfen and longtime musical collaborator Dean “Clean” Sabatino (The Dead Milkmen, Baby Flamehead) made a record in the spirit of Pell Mell in the Ithaca, NY woods at Mabel Sound, the studio of engineer, musician, and renowned author J. Robert Lennon. The resulting album "Warm Seclusion Structure" (released in December 2014 on Quadrapuss Records) prompted the formation of a live band with the addition of bassist Josh Newman (American Altitude, Heyward Hawkins Band) and newest member Joe Jack Talcum (Dead Milkmen, Butterfly Joe) on keys). At recent shows new tunes have been surfacing which will almost certainly appear on a planned second release.
