Cranes Are Flying - (Set time: 11:15 PM)
Cranes Are Flying
cranes are flying is brothers and co-front persons Lucas and Robin Carine along with George Cosgrove. They live and make music and make other things in West Philadelphia. Code Switching is their newest EP, the first to explore the possibilities of the brothers Carine as musical polyglots with a tag-team approach to songwriting, guitar, drum and vocal duties. Lyrically the EP deals with code switching as a form of miscommunication or misdirection. The songs are about the ways in which people try and sometimes fail to communicate in relationships, or succeed in concealing their true intentions, by changing their vocabulary to fit the conversation.
Boy Lawyer - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Boy Lawyer
Boy Lawyer is made up of Philly natives Enrique Gasparini, Pat Higgins, and Will Wright. Their debut LP Triple Delight is available on August 16th. As a 3-piece, Boy Lawyer hits hard and fast creating a charismatic blend of power-pop and garage rock.
We take our music seriously but not so much ourselves.
Glenn Matthews - (Set time: 9:45 PM)
Glenn Matthews
Glenn Matthews is a somber pop band from Philadelphia.
Flat Mary Road - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Flat Mary Road
Flat Mary Road has been playing music in and around Philadelphia together for nearly 10 years. In a decade, the lineup has changed, members have gone, returned and switched instruments. Through these rotations, songwriter, lead singer and guitarist Steve Teare kept writing new songs telling the stories of urban dwellers, roadtrippers, obsessive compulsives, naive heroes and house cats. Songs revolving around leaving the city for the pastoral open spaces of the Northeast only to be pulled back to Philadelphia again and again.

FMR’s guitar-driven sound was formed in basements and attics throughout Philadelphia, drawing heavily on late ‘80s indie rock with flashes of Americana folk and power pop. In 2016, the band recorded new songs at the Headroom in Philadelphia. They released these songs on their third album, “Driving with the Numen,” on Jan. 13, 2017. The album about wheels, cycles, patterns and tendencies -- the things we continue to turn to for better or for worse.
