Bryant Eugene Vazquez - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Bryant Eugene Vazquez
Bryant Eugene Vazquez writes songs: he’s a songwriter. He plays all of the instruments on his records: he’s written and self-recorded a lot of records. A native of East Los Angeles, CA, a long-time resident of Southwest & Northern Arizona, he now resides in Philadelphia. 2017 is his third year in Philly. Onstage he’s joined by his bandmates, and quite possibly his only friends: Frank Mashockie, Scott Haldeman, and Dean Custer. In 2017, Vazquez will be looking to release the third album in a line of “study” albums he began in 2015. That album will be called SKUZZ. Gracias.
Man Like Machine - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Man Like Machine
Alongside the devil-may-care apathetic mentality that permeated the ethos of '90s grunge bands, Philadelphia trio Man Like Machine introduces the glam elements of electroclash and goth. Loud, dramatic and angsty with lots of snyth, the band completes its homage to an era past (and present) with skinny black jeans and mussed-up hair. But it's not some shtick—the songs are catchy, compelling and unsettling. The darkness that seeped out of bands like the Cure and Duran Duran is eminently at home with Man Like Machine. And like both bands, Man Like Machine can twist anything into a good, solid pop tune. (Katherine Silkaitis of Philly Weekly)
Thom McCarthy - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
