Welles - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Petunia - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Petunia started out as John Ryan’s home recordings but has now morphed into a three piece rock’n’roll fun machine with brothers Nick and Ag Manta rounding out the rhythm section. The three lads recorded a new EP (out 12/1/17) called Dailies at Miner Street Recordings with producer Brian McTear (The War On Drugs, Sharon Van Etten, Dr. Dog) and engineer Matt Poirier (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Nightlands, Steady Hands). It’s definitely music you can show your mom and/or roller skate to. That should be all you need to know. If anymore information is desired, please express concern.
William H. Travis - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
William H. Travis
William H. Travis writes songs and his first attempt to write a bio was called “tired” by his lady, when he was trying to liken his music to pictures in an old suitcase at an antique store, pictures of people who lived and died years ago, some surrounded by friends and family, others alone, afraid, full of regret and envy, some who never lived as they wanted to but as they thought they should. We may or may not buy the pictures, but we pick up a couple and look at them and for a few moments think of another life, another time, and leave ourselves for a second or maybe even give ourselves away to that place or time, and then we put the pictures down and we get back to life. So, William H. Travis sings songs that are like that suitcase full of photos.
