Mothers - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Mothers
Mothers began in 2013 as self-taught songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kristine Leschper’s solo project as she studied printmaking in Athens, Georgia. Leschper's earliest musical influences span a great swath of early aughts rock and folk including Interpol, Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom, The Microphones, and Athens legends Neutral Milk Hotel; she later developed a love for experimental music, math rock, and noise artists as well. Over time, Leschper began collaborating with fellow Athenian Matthew Anderegg and a fully flushed out band soon fell into place. In 2016, Mothers released their debut album “When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired” to great critical acclaim. Named a Stereogum ‘Band To Watch’, Pitchfork’s review of the album compared Leschper to Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten while Noisey exclaimed that the record “is singer-songwriter prog rock for grown up emo kids.” Now based in Philadelphia, Mothers will spend 2018 working on their sophomore follow-up.
Mega Bog - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Mega Bog
Mega Bog is the moniker of song-dribbler Erin Birgy, a Pacific Northwest rodeo child with an unmistakable laugh who was allegedly cursed upon conception. Over the past 8 years the band has stretched and wandered in a crescendo towards musical freedom. Now based in New Mexico, Birgy has adopted a band of wiggly jazz cartoons lifted from bands like Big Thief, iji, Big Eater, Pillwonder, Causings, Hand Habits, Heatwarmer, Little Angry and others. Melodies always lush, erotic, and free. Chords always dissonant, abstract and evolutionary. Dizzying fusion of lounge, pop and bouncing rocks under poetic tantrums of love gone all the way wrong. Listen closer.
Arthur - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Arthur
London producer Vegyn has made a name for himself over the past year for his collaborations with Frank Ocean on Endless and Blonde. But he's also earned a reputation as expert curator as the host of Ocean's blonded Radio show and founder of his own PLZ Make It Ruins label.

Among the label's most exciting new artists is ARTHUR, a 20-year-old Delaware County, Pennsylvania native and multi-instrumentalist. Arthur's new single "AB," which premieres on The FADER today, is an infectious snippet of folk-pop glory about his routine visits to hospital. "She drinks my blood and I drink water," he sings on the song's opening line.

"I wrote AB on a really cold day in a warehouse," ARTHUR explained to The FADER over email. "I was wearing a big jacket and I could see my breath when I recorded it. Most of which was on a iPhone. It's about the euphoric sensation you get after you get blood work done. I'm diabetic so Im supposed to get my blood drawn every six months or so. Writing it made me realize I have no idea what blood type I am."
