The Goon Sax - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
The Goon Sax
The Goon Sax are James Harrison, Louis Forster and Riley Jones from Brisbane. They marry sublime indiepop with brilliantly human and brutally honest vignettes of adolescent angst delivered with personality, charm and heart-wrenching wonder. Still in high school when they made their first album Up To Anything in 2016, their brand of awkwardly transcendent teenage guitar pop took them into end of year lists for BBC 6Music, Billboard and Rough Trade, and earned them rave reviews from the Guardian, Pitchfork, Spin, Uncut, Rolling Stone and elsewhere. According to Metacritic, Up To Anything was the 8th best-reviewed debut album anywhere in the world in 2016.

The Goon Sax toured UK and Europe twice on that record, played The Great Escape and shows with Whitney, US Girls, Twerps and Teenage Fanclub, graduated school, and then turned their focus to album number two, due to be released later in the year on Chapter Music in Australia and New Zealand and on Wichita for the rest of the world. After recording Louis spent some time being bohemian in a freezing Berlin apartment, but they are now all back in Australia, and keeping busy playing shows with Angel Olsen, Perfume Genius and Protomartyr.
Dark Web - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Dark Web
Dark Web is a sewer-punk outfit based in Philly. The band's music is characterized by heavy squealing guitars, angular rhythms, stompy drums, and intense nihilistic vocals with lyrics that depict bleak, future landscapes. Their debut LP was released in Summer 2018 on Erste Theke Tontraeger.
Telepathic - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Telepathic
Telepathic is a three piece punk/psych/pop band from Philadelphia. They
record at home onto a tape machine, and have day jobs. Currently they
are into writing short fast songs. They have a large range of influences,
most notably bands from the late 70's/early 80's from Australia, New
Zealand and the UK. RIYL: harmonies, lo-fi recording, guitars and 20-25
minute set times.
