Little Big League (Record Release) - (Set time: 11:15 PM)
Little Big League (Record Release)
From the very start of Little Big League’s new LP Tropical Jinx, it’s clear that there is nothing little about the band or their second full-length album. In fact, there is an unmistakable depth in these ten indie rock gems that makes each song fulfilling in a dozen different ways. The brutally honest lyrics of guitarist/vocalist Michelle Zauner are one of the album’s undeniable high points: the confessions and confrontations about dealing with family life, relationships and personal failures are both relatable and cathartic. Little Big League have created something special on Tropical Jinx. It is an homage to the best moments of alternative rock with the unmistakable spirit of Philadelphia DIY, blended in a way that demands your immediate attention.
LVL UP - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Almost three years after the release of their first full length, "Space Brothers", LVL UP entered the studio several times attempting to complete their sophomore album, "Hoodwink’d". Completed in June 2014,“Hoodwink’d” showcases the evolution of style by the three primary songwriters, Benton, Caridi, and Corbo since the release of their first LP. Drawing influences from 90’s indie rock, 80’s new wave and 70’s power pop, the young boys have created an album that is stylistically diverse yet cohesive. "Hoodwink’d" will be released on Exploding in Sound andDouble Double Whammy on September 23, 2014.
Tutlie - (Set time: 9:45 PM)
Called "one of Philly's most imaginative bands" by Philadelphia's WXPN, Tutlie carries both the dark and the light in equal measure. Formed by Jessie Radlow in 2010 while attending college in West Chester, Pennsylvania, the band has seen many lineup shifts on the path to refining the vision Radlow first set forth. In 2012, producers Drew Taurisano and Asher Brooks joined the outfit as they began to demo what would eventually become the bands 2014 debut LP Young Cries.

Young Cries, described as "expressive and expansive" by WXPN, is a far-reaching sonic experience, marrying the unique and exceptional songwriting of Radlow with the immersive production and texture as developed by the band and it's producers Taurisano and Brooks. Simply stated by Performer Mag, Young Cries is "smart, intricate chamber pop that will challenge your imagination."
